Therapeutic and support services for mental health, behavioral, or substance use challenges.
Rehabilitative Behavioral Health Services (RBHS) is a Medicaid-funded program designed to provide therapeutic and support services to individuals facing mental health, behavioral, or substance use challenges. The program is available to children, adolescents, and adults at our South Carolina location and is offered both in-person and virtually. Services are available through one-on-one sessions or family therapy, focusing on achieving emotional, social, and functional stability.
RBHS provides personalized therapeutic services aimed at building skills to help individuals manage mental health challenges. Clients engage in one-on-one or family therapy, where they work with trained professionals to develop coping strategies, improve emotional regulation, and strengthen their social and functional abilities. These services can be provided in-office or virtually, depending on the client’s needs and preferences.
RBHS is helpful for individuals who need consistent, structured support in managing their mental health, behavioral, or substance use challenges. The program is designed to provide a comprehensive approach to care, supporting individuals in maintaining or achieving stability in their emotional, social, and functional lives. By offering services in flexible formats, RBHS ensures that care is accessible and can be integrated into the client’s daily life.
The goal of RBHS is to assist individuals in building skills to manage their mental health and improve their quality of life. This includes promoting emotional and behavioral stability, enhancing social skills, and increasing independence. RBHS also aims to strengthen family dynamics by offering family therapy sessions, supporting the individual within the broader context of their home and community life. Ultimately, the program seeks to empower individuals to achieve long-term stability and self-sufficiency, helping them thrive in their daily environments.
